D.Day for Bioeconomy on September 5th at Nokia Executive Experience Center (Karakaari 18, Espoo)
Get to know the emerging digital technologies and new solutions/applications in the bioeconomy sector, consisting for example wood based biomass, agro, food and textile related businesses. Meet the best players in the field and create new ecosystems and networks. - Digital Fiber – Digitalizing Forest Industry - VTT and Siemens
During summer 2017 VTT, Siemens and Spinverse launched the Digital Fiber Initiative, aiming at constructing an ecosystem that would build a world class competence center benefitting of both the pilot plant resources of VTT Bioruukki and modern digital instruments and tools to manage the experiments in the pilot plant, to enable the integrated (digital and fiber) solutions and products. - Digital Solutions in Food Production - Mtech Digital Solutions
Food production and consumption have a significant impact on climate change. Cultivation and its planning combined with digital technologies enable mitigation of environmental impacts in primary production. However, new digital solutions and business models are needed to utilize data in the food chain to take advantage of renewable resources and side products of primary production. - Digitalization in Circular Economy of Textiles - VTT
Transformation from linear to circular economy is forcing industries to change their businesses, but not without creating new business opportunities. These opportunities can be found e.g. in service based business models and digitalization. Telaketju -network compose of several actions aiming together towards sustainability and resource efficiency in clothing and textile field via better reutilization of discarded textiles in Finland. Logistics, textile sorting as well as new services for consumers are examples of areas where digitalization can help us to better achieve our goals.
- Smart Packaging Valley workshop - Pöyry
Packaging valley network has 30+ members from all parts of the value network. Together they produce an immense amount of data. How can AI, Advanced Analytics and Cyber security make value out of this data cache? This workshop´s focus is the consumer AI solutions in consumer packaging, data mining of consumer packaging data and cyber secure packaging.

Selections to the pitches and demo stands will be done by the Reboot Finland D.Day team, and the selected organizations will be informed of this by a separate email in August.
